Personal profile
Nadja (b.1992) is a Greek/ Tunisian woman who works with the body as a divine instrument to experiencing the world from more than one point of view. Through somatic and spiritual practices she’s tuning in playfulness and groundiness, elements that she loves to share in yoga sessions facilitation.
As a person, she’s warm with a big smile, groovy and accommodating and feels home within assembles. She loves spicies and herbs, early morning rituals, the sea and bird watching.
Biography
Dancer, Choreographer, Yoga teacher
Nadja is a dancer, choreographer and yoga teacher based in Copenhagen. Her artistic interest lies in political debates of our times and notions of reality and fiction. Her movement practice emerges from somatic principles and rituals, based on energy conservation and zero resistance working modes. In her works, she invites elements from past and future and she encourages the very own individual interpretation of the experience. The performative universes she creates, are somewhat wacky, eccentric and quirky, always proposing a relaxed and sensuous audiencing, oftentimes interactive.

Her yoga practice is coloured by traditional yoga, dance and martial arts elements, where creative yoga poses and transitions contort the body into various ways. Challenge, risk and failure, are qualities that she genuinely invites into practice, as ingredients of playfulness and growth.
She is a co-founder and member of KOMMA Performance Productions, an association running from and for self-producing artists towards crafting sustainable models for artistic work within the field of dance and choreography.
